Lloyd, Florida ยท Every Other Saturday
A small family farm in Jefferson County, Florida.
Fresh eggs, boiled peanuts, Jams & Jellies, and Farm Fresh Vegetables & Fruit
You'll always find hot boiled peanuts, fresh eggs, and a variety of jams and jellies. The rest rotates with the seasons and the soil.
Fresh-boiled the morning of the market โ hot, salty, and ready when you pull up. Sold by the cup, or larger if you ask nicely.
Pasture-fresh from our own flock. The yolks are the deep golden kind you don't find at the grocery store.
Made right here from what we grow and forage. You'll find varieties like Mayhaw, blueberry, apple, grape, and apple butter โ along with seasonal items like fig preserves, peach, strawberry, and more.
From our raised beds and veggie plot โ greens, onions, peppers, and whatever's looking good that week.
Apples, peaches, plums, persimmons, and more โ each year gets better and better.
Starter plants to take home and grow yourself. Types that we love and do well in North Florida.
The drive out is half the experience. Take US-90 east from Tallahassee โ also known as Mahan Drive โ and enjoy one of the prettiest stretches of road in North Florida. In the 1930s, local nurseryman Fred Mahan planted crepe myrtles all along that 26-mile corridor between Tallahassee and Monticello, and the trees have been blooming pink and purple every summer since. It is the kind of road that slows you down on purpose.
When you get to Lloyd, you will pass right by a piece of genuine Florida history. The old Lloyd Railroad Depot, built in 1858, is the oldest brick train station in the state of Florida. It served as a shipping hub for cotton and crops all the way through the Civil War era and beyond. Today it is home to the Lloyd Post Office โ and we are right next door.

Head east on US-90 out of Tallahassee. Turn onto Old Lloyd Road and keep going โ you'll find us. Look for the stand out front.
My wife and I have called Jefferson County home for more than thirty years. We both remember and cherish the times when life seemed a little slower and a little more grounded. Times spent with our grandparents, where fresh picked garden tomatoes and climbing trees to grab that perfect piece of fruit was just something everybody did.
In 2023 we moved onto this little plot of land and finally got to start living that again. We are trying to keep it alive for us and for our community. A place where new memories can be made and fresh eating can be fun and healthy. We love our land, our animals, our trees and our plants, and feel truly blessed to be able to share a little of that with you.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Hard-won knowledge from our own plot. Written for North Florida gardeners wrestling with the same heat, humidity, pests, and diseases we deal with every season.
